Our Story
Hello from Three Acre Ranch
The Smith Family are first-generation ranchers and homesteaders on a 60-ish-acre cattle ranch in Eastern Washington. Brian and Shawnita Smith started homesteading in 2010 on three acres outside Molalla, OR. Those first three acres are where the name Three Acre Ranch came from. It is a nod to their roots.
In 2022, Brian and Shawnita moved with their four children to the ranch and haven’t stopped working since! Three Acre Ranch has been a cattle setup for the last 50+ years. As with any older property, many repairs need to be made, and the family is working together to bring the pasture fences and barns up to working condition.
Brian, Shawnita, and their children strive to provide a small number of pasture-raised beef for local families each year. They also sell farm fresh eggs and deliver to the Walla Walla area twice weekly.
